I'm thrilled to share a positive review for a restaurant. My mom wanted lobster for her birthday, so we went to Tropical Acres on Monday night for their twin lobster special. From the moment we walked in, the experience was absolutely wonderful. The staff greeted us with warm smiles. Our servers (JJ and Arthur) were attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared. The food was fantastic -- the lobster was fresh and beautifully presented. I was more excited than my mom. Everything came out hot and perfectly timed. My mom even received a piece of key lime pie for her birthday. This restaurant values both great food and excellent service. We left full, happy, and planning to return for the stone crabs. I can't believe I haven't been back since my mom's birthday party there, about 10 years ago, in the private room (in my defense, I live in Georgia). I highly recommend Tropical Acres for a memorable dining experience.
Restaurant was recommended by a coworker; was very hesitant to visit. However, co-worker became credible source when they recommenced a much smaller Mexican restaurant which blew my mind. Therefore, it was time to try T. Acres. Took my family randomly one day in the week, it was packed. Service was great and the wait time was short. Nothing was disappointing. From appetizer to main course, even drinks which I rarely order was wonderful. Both Les and Wendy were very attentive despite being busy. They both gave great recommendations. My family had a great time. Looking forward to take my mother when she comes to visit…I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The family wants to go back soon.
We have been coming here for years. My husband was coming here since 1958. The food is delicious consistently good. The service is excellent. We have our renegade Corvette Christmas party here every year and we have met so many nice PayPal at happy hour. Highly recommend you will not be disappointed
We recently dined at Tropical Acres Steakhouse and was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service and outstanding cuisine. The 10 ounce center cut filet, paired with succulent lobster tails, was cooked to perfection and truly unforgettable. The bartenders, including Ryan, Evelyn, and Nick, provided top-notch service, crafting expertly made cocktails and ensuring our glasses were always full. Manager Joe was attentive and ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of excellent. I've attached a video showcasing our meal, which speaks for itself. Overall, Tropical Acres Steakhouse is a must-visit destination for any seafood and steak enthusiast. We highly recommend Tropical Acres Steakhouse!
We’ve been here many times before usually for special occasions. It has been renovated somewhat ( I miss the old decor). The food this time was disappointing. We started with the stuffed mushroom caps, they were fantastic however there were only three. We each had a Cesar salad. We both agreed it wasn’t good. My husband had shrimp scampi and said it was good. I had the petite filet mignon with a baked potato. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare but not seasoned at all. The baked potato was just that. Not opened or anything. Just taken out of the oven and put on the plate. They give you a little plate of foil wrapped butter with the rolls in the beginning. So I used that butter after I cut open the potato. Those rolls were barely warm and very hard. We will definitely be back I’m just hoping things get better.
